Pattern discovery
Finding recurrent patterns (motifs) and discords in time series with SAX.
The same SAX machinery that powers the classifier also supports unsupervised pattern mining: motifs — the most frequently recurring subsequences — and discords — the subsequences most different from everything else in the series. This module shows both with the jmotif-sax library on an ECG recording.
